PDF Workspace

Combine several complete PDFs, reorder or rotate whole documents, then add page numbers and a watermark — all before you export one finished file. Built for merging and finishing full documents, not for rearranging pages inside a single messy scan.

Why finish, not just merge, in one place

A merged PDF is rarely the actual finish line — it's usually the first step before you send, sign, or file it somewhere. A contract merged with its signed exhibits still needs page numbers before it goes to the other party. A set of scanned ID documents for a visa or loan application needs to stay as one file, not scattered across five separate uploads. A compiled report from three contributors needs a consistent look before it goes to a client. This workspace exists so that reorder, rotate, number, and watermark all happen before you export, instead of bouncing the same file through Merge, then Page Numbers, then Watermark as three separate downloads and re-uploads.

Common real uses: combining a contract with its signed exhibits before filing; consolidating scanned ID, bank statement, and supporting documents into one packet for a visa or loan application, without leaving each piece as a separate file; merging draft chapters or sections from multiple contributors into one report with continuous numbering; and putting a cover page, body, and appendix back together with the pages in the right order after each was edited separately.

PDF Workspace FAQs

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Every action on this page runs inside your browser using JavaScript. Your PDFs are never sent to a server.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Unlock a protected PDF first (in the source application), then upload it here.

What's the file size limit?

There's no fixed limit, but very large files are bound by your device's available memory since everything processes locally.

Can I reorder pages within a single file, not just the file order?

Not yet. This workspace reorders and rotates whole files before merging — it's built for combining and finishing several complete documents, not for rearranging pages inside one messy scan. Some other tools offer a full page-by-page thumbnail grid for that specific job; DocVelora's version of that is a planned addition, not something we'd claim to already do.

Do I need to use Merge, Page Numbers, and Watermark separately, or does this replace them?

This replaces running them one after another for a typical job: pick your files, toggle on page numbers and/or a watermark, and export once. The single-purpose Merge PDF tool is still there for when all you need is the merge, with nothing else.

Can I use this to consolidate scanned ID or supporting documents for an application?

Yes — that's one of the more common uses. Upload each scanned document, set the order you want them presented in, and export one consolidated file instead of submitting several separate uploads.

What happens to files after I close the tab without exporting?

Nothing is saved anywhere. Since everything runs in your browser's memory, closing the tab without exporting simply discards the session — there's no draft saved on a server to worry about deleting.
